Fresh-House in Stade

After trying in vain to get a table for dinner in several restaurants, we ended up in the Fresh House. The "chief waitress" informed us in a very friendly manner that they would have a table for us in about 20 minutes and that we should go for a walk. When we came back later, we actually got the promised table and ate a very tasty fish platter. The food was served quickly (we had pointed out that we had a city tour at 8:30 p.m.), we were served in a friendly manner by both employees and we cannot confirm the negative reviews. We give the full five stars.

Delicious fish, but also those who like it more exotic will find Indian dishes. It is currently advisable to reserve a table.

Well, first of all the most important things: my ribeye steak, the side dishes, the espressos were really good and tasty. Location is great with the view. But somehow there is a strange mood there. Menus have to be downloaded with a mobile phone. For the Mäusekino the card is then sorted somewhat unhappily. Another guest said: The kind of service is somehow out of date. Like 40 years ago. 200km further east.

I had a rib eye steak with a baked potato and sour cream. The steak tasted good but was very small. I doubt the weight of 200g. € 18 for a meal and not full. I won't eat anything anymore

We were in the mood for fish and strolled through Stade. Unfortunately we ended up in the Fresh House without reading the reviews first !!! We can only agree with all previous reviewers who criticized the staff. I had the Steinbeisser in tomato stock with vegetables and potatoes. As a vegetable almost only paprika, more than firm to the bite. There was nothing to taste of the tomato stock! As a result, the fish could no longer be tasted. A little bread would not have been bad either. When asked where the tomato stock and taste was, one of the most unfriendly waitresses came with a menu that we were denied beforehand, and said there was only tomato stock, the tomatoes were pureed, so you wouldn't see them. My objection that you should taste it was brushed aside. Everything just tasted like paprika. But then with the bill came the greatest cheek! I wanted to pay with a credit card. You didn't take them! EC card only. I couldn't believe the menu only with QR code and then no credit card. I said that too and got the cheeky answer original sound - one is a modern restaurant, hence the QR-CODE. Most of the guests smiled. Modern - QR code - but no credit card. No offer to get any compensation or compensation for the bad food. Goodbye tips! Oh, cold drinks also nil - only water at room temperature and ice cubes touched by various people - no thanks - Corona is calling! I can only advise everyone not to set foot in this house

The service correlates with the value of the order. After our drinks were brought, we were immediately informed that we had to change the table, as the shady places were only for guests who order something to eat. After we reluctantly moved, the next waitress came to cash in. In response to the question "What if we want to order something now?" the waitress replied that her boss had told her we should pay now.

Expensive, unfriendly, not worth the money! My beef skewer, the meat was tough, was served more or less cold after a long wait, my partner's fish was lukewarm. Upon request, the food was warmed up, which, however, had the consequence that it was now hot but no longer looked very appetizing. An apology on the part of the host (the man seemed at least to be in charge) was not made and we were treated very unkindly by him. We'll definitely never go there again!

We visited the Fresh House restaurant at the end of our vacation and were also prepared to pay the somewhat more expensive, but reasonable prices given the freshness and quality. But the visit was quite sobering. My sea bream was a little too dry from grilling for too long or keeping it warm and when my friend's meal came, I just thought "This is carelessly prepared." and he was visibly disappointed and said that he shared my impression. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and after informing the waitress about my allergies, I saw and heard her laugh with another waitress about the precautions necessary for my intolerance, not to say "blaspheme". We wouldn't come again.

It started with the fact that the female waitress came to our table without a greeting and appeared relatively unfriendly. We ordered drinks first and gave ourselves the illusion that we could order food a short time later. But that was far from it! The lady didn't come to our table for the next 30 minutes. Eye contact could not be maintained because she was constantly looking at the floor. So we left this inhospitable house and ate in another restaurant. We have never experienced such bad service before!

Unfortunately, less than one star is not possible. Essen was an hour and a half away. Service was rude from start to finish. With the sympathetic appearance, even at McDonalds, the cars would back out of the McDrive.

Super unfriendly service. Since we then decided to only have one drink, we were completely expelled from the place. In other words, we didn't get anything after waiting about 20 minutes. Never again, no recommendation!

Solid cuisine, sometimes very good. Service by the young (auxiliary) service staff friendly. However, the head waitress (owner?) Was a complete failure. Completely unnecessary and without reason downright aggressively unfriendly, apparently not an isolated case; one can only wish her a lack of customers.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! You only behave so outrageously towards your guests when the tourists come anyway. The young auxiliary service staff were friendly, but the person in charge hovered over everything - incredibly condescending to contemptuous. Very unfortunate, because the food was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, the good cuisine cannot make up for the schoolmaster-like atmosphere.

Well, position is great. You can sit inside or outside. BUT, the decision to eat outside was clearly against waiter's wish. So, it was also reflected in the service. 🙄 The food prize was 67€ for a family of four. The food for kids was completely without any taste and I do not think much about it's origin (looked like some frozen prefabricate). The food for adults - steak and grill plate was, politely said, not exciting. To be fair, the neighboring table ordered a fish and they were pleased. BE AWARE: the restaurant offers only electronic menu. You have to sken a QR code on the table and select your food. The order itself is done with the waiter. Your own data are in play, of course. Modern? No. Annoying? Yes, a lot. You can pay by cash or EC card only. FIRST TIME, LAST TIME.

Service a smooth 0. Short black hair, really nasty. We moved on to the bean and were greeted very friendly there.

Fine gastronomy with friendly service. The menu is varied. You can feel comfortable here and it is recommended.

The best Indian food I had was here. Though options are limited but whatever they cook, they do amazing. I have had food in many India restaurants in Hamburg or Lübeck. This is best food till now.. takes credit card, seating is nice, staff is courteous. Highly recommended

First time in Stade. Nice fish restaurant in great place with excellent staff. Ask recommendation if tou are not sure.
